How to turn your credit card into a metal card
Turn your own credit or debit card into 27 g of engraved steel, with the same number and PIN. Here's how it works, step by step.
A metal card feels different the moment you hold it: 27 g of laser-engraved stainless steel instead of thin plastic. The good news is you don't need a new bank account to get one. We turn your own card into a metal card, so your bank, card number and PIN stay exactly the same.
How it works, step by step
- Choose your design. Pick one of our pre-made designs, a Signature card, or design your own with your name, logo or artwork.
- Order securely. Pay by card or PayPal. You never type card details on our website.
- Send your details privately. Right after you order, we message you on WhatsApp. You send the details you want engraved there.
- Approve your proof. We send a preview of exactly what we'll engrave. Nothing is cut until you say yes.
- We engrave and ship. Your card is laser-engraved in 3–5 business days, then shipped free and tracked. Standard delivery takes about 9–11 business days, or choose Express (5–8 days after dispatch) for $29.
- Move your chip at home. Your card arrives with our Self-Kit: an adhesive kit and a video guide. You move the chip from your current card into the metal card in about 10 minutes. Your card never leaves your hands.
What stays the same
Because it's your card's own chip, your bank, account, card number and PIN don't change. Your bank won't see any difference.
What's different
Solid steel has no tap-to-pay, so you pay by inserting the chip. That works at card machines and ATMs wherever chip cards are accepted. For quick contactless payments, keep using your phone wallet.
